The day Sandra discovered Avocado on Toast..

WHAT : Sandra is cooking you a tasty, healthy avocado on a crunchy toast 

WHEN : Anytime of the day. For breakfast, brunch, lunch, mid-afternoon break, dinner. As many times as you want. (Even twice a day if needed)

WHERE : Better if cosy at home   

WHY : Because you may be in a hurry, annoyed, or tired but so damn hungry

Everyone knows that Sandra is a hyperactive woman, always busy doing something. Most of the time she is busy working and designing bags, obviously. The rest of the time, she may be busy answering long phone calls, keeping her fit with strong gym sessions, helping some of her beloved friends, reading inspirational books and essays, dancing some Sevillanas, taking care of herself with a nutritional hair pack mask, cleaning her house, singing, etc.

However, you will never catch her busy cooking!

We could say cooking is not her cup of tea but it will be somehow wrong: she definitely hates that. On the contrary, she damn loves eating. 

So what? Doing of necessity virtue, she is writing her own Home-Made Recipes Book dedicated to all those people with a sophisticated palatal and in love with food, but unable to cook properly. Basically, they are easy-to-preparing dishes - quite healthy recipes most of the time – made of few simple ingredients that if correctly mixed will grant excellent results. 

Least but not last, her kitchen can satisfy any palatal, even the most demanding palates. How?

Well, Sandra’s recipes are so easy and genuine nobody can live without.

Be careful! There is one main collateral effect: once she learns how to cook something, she can cook it everyday for weeks, or twice a day if needed, making quick variations of the original plate in order to have it for breakfast as well, or for a quick break, lunch, dinner and teatime.

Today, Sandra has just discovered the Avocado on Toast: this will be her favourite recipe for the rest of the week. So, if you need her and she doesn’t answer you, she might be busy cooking her Avocado on Toast. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 medium avocado
  • slice 100-percent whole wheat bread (better if with mixed seeds, as pumpkin, sesame and poppy seeds), lightly toasted
  • pinch paprika
  • Extra-virgin olive oil 
  • Salt & Pepper q.b.
DIRECTION
Toast your slices of whole wheat bread.
Meanwhile, wash your avocado. Thinly slice it and lay avocado slices over bread. 
Lightly mash with a fork and add some extra virgin olive oil.
Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Bite it, close your eyes and enjoy it!
